My name is Samuel Okeke, a seasoned and enthusiastic Software Developer. A native of Anambra state and a resident in Lagos. I find solace in learning new skills and working with great minds, because it makes me feel like a superhuman😀.
Personally, proffering solutions to complex issues that usually appear as blockers is majorly what gives me satisfaction. My goal is to make development easy, and to develop on ways to simplify solutions and amplify knowledge.

My journey into IT started 8 years ago, after graduating from the University. This was when I decided I wanted to become a database administrator, so I took a course in Oracle. As at the time, Oracle was a big name, and I wanted to tell my friend I am an Oracle expert. After 6 months, I got my OCA certificate in Oracle 11G. As months went by, I realized my Oracle skill proved insufficient. So I joggled from a pool of courses on a brochure from a certain learning institute, where I enrolled for an internship and started learning Web Development. As I continued learning, I was tested on my progress, which later showed that I had improved exponentially. This was when I started tutoring student at the institute. It was a tough paradigm for me I must say but I was determined to make a difference.

In five years from now, I should be at the top of my career, building recognized and renowned applications. At this time, I would've achieved quite a handful of my goals to be a pioneer to the next big thing. In the past years, I have worked with companies that presented me the platform to explore, collaborate and grow to where I am now. Practically, working with you would rarely be without adding values to the growth of the company.

Furthermore, I want to gain experience that runs through the development processes & channels from data analysis, decision making, project management, up to the latter. Although, these may not be tightly dependent but it could set me up for a strategic and pivotal role in the company.

The concept of Personality is more broad than we think it is, but I'm willing to make mine brief😌. As a September born, a proud Virgo as he likes to call himself. Samuel is more fixated about getting results and has a talent in controlling situations that might arise within a project.

He is mostly reserved, and an ambivert, however his introverted side screams louder than the extroverted side of him. Quite frankly, his ideal work environment is one with a rich culture for collaboration, ownership, communication and fairness, an environment where every team member respect each other and share a common goal.

Invariably, I would like to own a tech start-up with some of the best & experienced developers ever, to deliver world class applications like Paystack, Flutterwave etc. However, beside the IT space, I think owning a radio station would be super great because I enjoy how it connects the common people across the country.
